A 2nd Interview

Yeehaw!!! I had my phone interview today and I felt it went really well. I studied the company and also some accounting books. I was comfortable answering the questions she asked and I felt very positive about it.

Then I called back a guy who wanted to meet me tonight in a so called job fair. I found out that he was with Primerica so I told him to take the highway.

So, Michelle and I went looking for houses for rent to see what was out there. We found that there are not many of signs posted for the rentals. We will do more looking later, but back to the 2nd interview part.

When we got home 2 hours later, there was a message to call back the girl who interviewed me. I thought it was awfully fast so they must not like me. Yeah right, I got a 2nd interview on Friday at 10am. Woohoo!!!! I am nervous though because it is gonna have an assessment test and should last about 2.5 hours. I'm gonna be there forever. So, now I have gone from really excited to really nervous.

I just want to thank everyone for their prayers, I couldn't of done without you. Here's to more prayers on Friday.

Congrats, I am sure you will do fine... the assessment test I had to take to get the job a GoDaddy was only 22 minutes long and was called the Thurstone test of mental awareness... I think... So did they tell you anything about the assessment test they are going to be giving to you?

We found our rental home on Rental.com But I am sure you guys have already looked through it.

We could rent out a few rooms to you guys...he he he...However we might kill each other after a couple of days.

She said it was an assessment on a whole bunch of accounting principles ie, A/P, A/R, GL, advanced accounting, excel, spelling and proofreading. Stuff like that. Im not too worried but the time frame kindof freaked me out.

Yeah the only way a person could get through all of the questions on the GoDaddy assessment is to complete every question in under 10 seconds. I only got half way through the test and didn't bother to use the last 2 minutes to just fill in guesses on the rest of the questions as they suggested so I must have gotten enough of the questions correct that I did complete or else I wouldn't be working there now... Assessments are always weird. Like when I came back from my mission and took the math assessment test at MCC and couldn't even start out in College Algebra... then I spent time reviewing and managed to skip over the algebra that wasn't even going to count towards my Electrical ENgineering degree and I was able to start out in Precalculus... The worst part about schooling is that it is all so easliy forgotten if not used. Oops sorry to be blogging in your comments... LOL!
